Зміст статті

A two-day trip to Munich will be packed with activities but not exhausting if you group the sights by neighbourhood. It’s worth leaving time in your itinerary for Bavarian architecture, parks and museums, a rest after the coach journey, and the possibility of having to change your plans due to the weather.

    Day one

Start with Marienplatz and the Old Town. Choose one main paid attraction and plan the rest of the route as a leisurely stroll. Check the official tourist websites for current opening times and ticket prices.

    Day Two

Continue through the English Garden and the Museum Quarter. Alternate between museums and parks or waterfronts so as not to overpack your itinerary. Booking in advance can be useful for popular attractions, but leave some flexibility in your schedule.

    Public transport

Download an offline map and check how to pay for your journey. If most places are close together, walking is often more convenient than making several short transfers.
