What to see in Linz in two days
Зміст статті

A two-day trip to Linz will be packed with activities but not exhausting if you group the sights by neighbourhood. It’s worth leaving time in your itinerary for contemporary culture, river views and the historic centre, as well as a chance to rest after the coach journey and to make changes to your plans in case of bad weather.

    Day one

Start at the Main Square and the Danube embankment. Choose one main paid attraction, and plan the rest of the route as a leisurely stroll. Check the official tourism websites for current opening times and ticket prices.

    Day Two

Continue on to the Ars Electronica Centre and the Pestlingberg hill. Alternate between museums and parks or waterfronts so as not to overpack your itinerary. It may be worth booking in advance for popular attractions, but leave some flexibility in your schedule.

    Public transport

Download an offline map and check how to pay for your journey. If most places are close by, walking is often more convenient than making several short changes.
