Зміст статті

A two-day trip to Innsbruck will be action-packed but not exhausting if you group the sights by neighbourhood. It’s worth allowing time in your itinerary for Alpine panoramas and Tyrolean architecture, a rest after the coach journey, and the possibility of having to change your plans due to the weather.

    Day one

Start with the Golden Roof and the Old Town. Choose one main paid attraction, and plan the rest of the itinerary as a leisurely stroll. Check the official tourist websites for current opening times and ticket prices.

    Day Two

Continue on to the Hofburg, the Inn embankment and the viewpoints. Alternate between museums and parks or embankments so as not to overload your itinerary. Booking in advance may be useful for popular attractions, but leave some flexibility in your schedule.

    Public transport

Download an offline map and check how to pay for your journey. If most places are close by, walking is often more convenient than making several short transfers.
