The cathedral and the castle area provide the historical backdrop to the route. Start with an exterior tour and the panoramic views, and choose which museums to visit based on your interests. Don’t try to fit in all the interior visits if you still have a long way to go.
How to continue the route
The Town Hall allows you to continue exploring the city centre. After visiting the squares, you can return to the riverfront. If you head down to the riverbank, bear in mind the climb back up straight away, especially with children or after a night bus.
