Przemyśl often features in travel plans between Ukraine and Poland. A reliable journey begins with two complete sets of documents and precise station details, not just by working out the two-hour time difference.
Check the stations and local times
Check the name ‘Przemyśl Główny’ in the Polish timetable and the arrival point of the first service. Read the journey time for each leg as specified by the operator; do not add the time difference again to the local time. Note down the numbers of both trains, the date and the time between them. On international journeys, border procedures may affect the actual arrival time.
Individual tickets require separate verification
Check whether you have a through ticket or separately purchased leg tickets. Do not assume that a connection is automatically guaranteed. In the event of delays, contact the staff and the other carrier before purchasing a new ticket. At the station, check the current platform number rather than an old diagram from a blog; allow plenty of time to move between platforms with your luggage.
