You should have your ticket and ID ready at the same time. Even if all your details are saved on your mobile, don’t leave checking your access until the moment you board. You may need additional proof for concessions or when travelling with a child.
Check the name and the correct format
Compare the details on your ticket with the identity document you plan to use for travel. Check the current list of accepted documents in the UZ terms and conditions. If you’re relying on a digital document, check that it’s valid and ensure you can access the official app; a standard photo of the document shouldn’t automatically be considered equivalent. For international journeys, there’s also a separate check to ensure you’re authorised to cross the border.
Prepare a set of documents for each passenger
When travelling as a family, draw up a list of passengers and documents so as not to forget proof of a child’s age or any entitlements. Keep the set in an easily accessible bag, not buried deep inside your suitcase. If a document is lost or its validity is in doubt, contact the relevant authority and the carrier before purchasing your ticket; do not expect to sort everything out at the station.
